The procedure for On-line Admission for all above four streams
is as follows

FEES FOR ON-LINE
ADMISSION
|
There will be three options for the payment of fees
|
(A) The fee can be deposited On-line
through Credit Card (Master/Visa) Debit Card (visa only of select banks), or
(B) Through Bank Draft of any nationalised bank only in favour of Secretary, NIOS payable at Bhubaneswar only in case of Stream-2, 3 and 4 received within a week of Online registration. (C) The required admission fee can be deposited through challan, which is available on NIOS website and also at all the branches of Syndicate and Indian Bank. Bank branch will collect fee and return two copies of bank challan after issuance of acknowledgement and putting a unique number on to the bank challan receipt. The bank will charge Rs. 6/- (Rs. Six only) per student for this facility. |

Procedure for On-line
Admission through AI (Study Centre)/Facilitation Centre
|
All AIs/Study Centres of NIOS are authorised to open an
On-line registration counter for facilitating learners in taking On-line admission.
They will also help the learners in pre-admission counselling, choice of
study centres/Course, Medium of Instruction, transfer of credit, Credit
accumulatin and other flexible features of NIOS etc,. The AI will follow the
same procedure for On-line registration. The AI will provide a copy of
acknowledgement containing the reference number generated by computer to
students for future correspondence with NIOS.

Re-admission for
Ex-NIOS Students
|
The students of NIOS at Secondary/Senior Secondary level who
have completed their validity period of five years of admission, but could
not complete the course, are eligible to take Re-admission with NIOS. The
credit of subjects passed (maximum of four subjects) in the previous
admission will be transferred on submission of original mark-sheet for
seeking fresh admission, if these subjects are passed during the last ten
years (i.e., if passed during 2001 or later). The learner is required to pay
TOC fee as per details mentioned in prospectus.
